When we arrived there had been a change in reservations for us.A large family party had requested to all betogether in the same area so the Hotel upgrade my room to a suite with no additional charge.Great view clean room, and breakfast was good.I will book again with this Hotel.Also the people at the front desk were helpful and nice.The other staff were friendly and nice too.

Very clean room, nice breakfast in the morning, had late arrival and our room was waiting. We did not use all of the facilities because of late arrival and left early the next morning for Mackinac Island. Very convenient to the Star Line.

Love the location! The rooms are wonderful and immaculate. I like that the hotel has enclosed hallways. You can go from your room to the breakfast room, lobby or pool without going outside, which was great for the chilly weekend that we were there!

Very nice staff, enjoyed the pool and hot tub, Breakfast was great. Also loved the fact that the eating area was open for our use to play cards and games in the evening. Would stay here again!

I normally stay at the Hamilton Beach Hotel. I visit Mackinaw City/ Island twice a year. The only thing about the hotel that I don't really like is that the cleaning woman pretty much take over the hall for the majority of the day. I understand that they have to clean but there are like 8-10 carts lining the hall. It just doesnt' look good.

We chose the Hamilton Inn for it's location and low cost along with the great comments from past guests. We were very pleased with the hotel and they served a delicious breakfast that was an added plus! The front desk people were very nice and our trip was one of our best. We will stay at the Hamilton again and will refer our friends there.

The staff were pleasant, thoughtful, helpful - the facility was very well maintained - breakfast was a feast - we had a lovely view of the lake and the sandy beach. We parked our car, and then bicycled everywhere we wanted to go. The ferry was right next door - It was a fabulous weekend outing. Would gladly stay here again.

customer service could have been more informative upon registering...regarding offering the in-room internet password, which I did go down and ask for that evening. I gathered thru our booking, that there was mention of pool bands for other hotels...although none were offered nor was it mentioned by out hotel. However, we didn't end up in the pool...so it wasn't a biggie for us. But if offered thru your booking, I believe our hotel should be aware and mention it to us unpon our arrival .

When I reserved a room online for Hamilton Inn, although the website said the room was available. I received a call from the inn stating the room was not available. The had called Best Western and found me a room for the same price which was an outstanding service. The Best Western room was okay but I was really wanting to try out the Hamilton inn. I rate the service at Hamilton Inn outstanding for locating another hotel to my stay, Best Western as good. I had purchased discounted add on's for our stay, that were not readily available at Best Western at check in. However after 10-15 minutes they were able to get the tickets to me.

We loved our room and the view of the lake. The value of the room for what we got was great. The breakfast buffet you offer was something we have never experienced. So many choices - there was something for everyone. We would definitely stay with you again! One thing I would suggest is that your front desk people tell the guests about different things that are close to the hotel. We wanted to take the trolley, but discovered that it had already left by the time we came back from supper. We will take it next time we come.

Breakfast was average...the view was spectacular...hotel room did not have a guide book or hotel amenities so I had to keep calling front desk for hotel information such as pool times, information regarding tanning capsule and my WIFI connection would not connect.
