The Super 8 Bridgeview is the only log cabin hotel in Mackinaw City. The Super 8 Bridgeview is conveniently located directly across from 1000 feet of Lake Huron Beach at the base of the Mackinac Bridge. Rooms are excellent, location excellent, discounts on restaurants are excellent, very clean, front desk staff quick and friendly. Complementary breakfast selecions are good but the room is small and the staff uninviting.

Everything was great except the room right by the stairs is kinda noisey in the morning. Not a big deal, also the sheets on the bed were something to be desired, they kept pulling out but if they were fitted on the bottom that would be allot better. It appeared like they were the wrong sheets. It wasn't a bad experience but it could have been better. Best Regards Bob Taylor.

We had no issues with our stay. My only complaint is that we felt we were rushed to get out of room the day we left by housekeeping even though we requested a late checkout.

The two-bedroom suite would have been much better if there was a central room with TV, etc., with bedrooms off this, rather than having to go through one of the bedrooms to get to the other. Other than this, it was fine.

The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar was great. My only "concern" is that the building is not "secure" after hours. Limited access to the builing, via the room key to the exterior doors, would make me feel better. Thank you

The toom was fine,but the breakfast lacked a lot. There was only waffles that were hot. Tkey did not have any scrabled eggs or any meat, like bacon or ham. They could also have had a variety of fruits on the bar. They staff was very friendly and helpful.

Could faintly smell smoke in the room & hallways. Also the air freshner was a little over powering trying to cover the smoke smell. Our room refridgerator sat on the floor & only 1 lamp stand beside the bed. The view from our balcony thou was absolutely fabulous!

rooms were beautiful! we had a balcony and enjoyed it. the breakfast provided was great,however for such a large hotel it was served in a very small,too hot room. some people were not eating because there was no where to sit. people obviously appreciate the value of the continental breakfast and looked disappointed when they had to leave because the room was so crowded.

The front desk person was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable but we did have some trouble getting enough towels for five persons for the second day. We would come again.

The bed was comfortable. The furniture was beautiful. The hot tub in the room was great. The reason you are not getting an outstanding rating is because I went to get something to drink out of the vending maching and it was pretty much empty.

The beds were a little stiff, but not too bad. The breakfast was fine but the breakfast room is WAY too small to accommodate all the guests. It was very clean. The cleaning staff were very friendly but the lady that worked the continental breakfast never smiled and was VERY rude to my sister, definitely NOT a people person. Pool was great, perfect temp, hot tub was nice. All in all a good stay, I would stay again if you get rid of the breakfast lady!! THanks for a good time.

We have a large family,so for us to go on vacation is always costly. We require a suite for all of our children.....there is no way around it. Our room was roomy and comfortable for the price we payed. The cleaning staff was so friendly and accomodating. The continental breakfast was perfect for our children. We loved the pool and hot tub. Prefect temperatures....even our 7 month old enjoyed the pool! We WILL be back! :)

Staff was friendly and helpful- made adjustments so that our party to could be close together. The only thing negative was breakfast area could be a bit larger BUT if there weren't so many guests there (happy) it wouldn't be a problem so is it a negative? Nah!That was the only negative.

Looks like they recently remodeled this motel. It was clean with new looking furniture. Our fridge sat on the floor-maybe the stand hadn't come in yet. There wasn't room for our king size bed and 2 bedstands so we only had a stand on 1 side of the bed. The bad thing was our alarm clock went off very loudly at midnight-I don't know who set it (not us) but that was very scary being woke from a dead sleep to that noise. The breakfast nook was too small, couldn't walk around the food or find a table. The view off our deck made everything else okay since the view of the Mackinaw bridge is always gorgeous.

the hotel was clean and we especially like the log exterior look and the room also had the log cabin look.we were not to pleased with the breakfast we were expecting better and also for the amount of people the hotel holds especially in summer months the breakfast room was tiny and crowded.

The staff were so helpful and very patient. We changed our reservation so many times that it must have been frustrating for them and then when we arrived and there was a miscommunication about our room needs, the manager put us in a little suite that was perfect for us. I know we were frustrated and I imagine we weren't much fun to deal with and they were still so polite and accommodating. A family member tried to reach us by calling the desk and they hunted us down so we wouldn't miss the call. They really went above and beyond for us. We really like staying there; this wasn't our first visit. The kids loved the pool. The rooms have always been comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very nice too. Though we thanked the staff verbally, I also wanted to leave this review and recommend this location to others.
