10 out of 10Our stay was great. We booked two rooms as our daughter and granddaughter were traveling with us. We picked the hotel for the access to the waterpark and indoor pool/ spa. It was a short inside walk to the pool/ Waterpark area. The rooms were great. We both had king bed rooms. Nice firm beds with 5 pillows. Double curtains at the windows for privacy and black out for sleeping. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They are doing some renovations so some rooms are closed for remodeling but was not an issue. We will definitely recommend and use the hotel again.These comments are from a verified stay

10 out of 10We didn't stay at Bayside, we stayed at their sister hotel Crown Choice. Our room had a strange smell but I think it's because we were right above the waterpark and the chlorine smell was coming up through the ventilation. Our room was comfortable and clean. The front desk lady was super and the staff in the waterpark went above-and-beyond to help our daughter find her glasses. I would agree with the reviews that say the rooms could use an update but I think they're doing the best they can considering how COVID has affected their business. The breakfast snack bags were perfect to tide our kids over until lunch. The room was cheap and our kids had a great time at the waterpark. The ladies were patient and efficient and kind when handling our check-in and issues we had, as well as the other guests we witnessed. The hotel itself seems to need some attention though. The ceiling in more than a few spots, needs to be replaced or repaired. Noticed what looks like the start of black mold. In our room, the bathroom ceiling was not only stained with quite a few “mystery substances”, but the paint itself was also peeling pretty badly. The room was pretty decent aside from that. However the ventilation may also need some attention. The humidity in the room was very high even with the AC running. The outlets near the one bed may also need to be replaced as they no longer hold the prongs to a plug securely.These comments are from a verified stay

I always stay at your hotels in Mackinaw been going there for 15 years or so back when it was the Aqua Grand the Fairview that is. We weren't told right away that we had to lift up instead of push down, but the front desk staff were helpful when I addressed this.The walk to the Waterpark was a little long and confusing but we figured it out and enjoyed it very much! We were disappointed that they weren't serving breakfast but I understand why they weren't due to covid.
