10 out of 10The room was so clean, and the view was just wonderful. We watched the sunrise each morning. The staff was so helpful as well. My daughter had a fall on the Island and broke her leg. The gentleman in the office made arrangements to return the wheel chair to the Island medical center for us. Just all an all a great motel.These comments are from a verified stay

We had a problem with our T.V. and the maintenance guys were there in no time , and worked diligently until it was fixed. 10 out of 10Just before our trip in October, I received a phone call to inform me that the Fairview Beachfront Inn had to close down early due to issues. I was informed that we had been moved to Bridge Vista Beach Hotel, where we had stayed last year. When we checked in, we were informed that we had been complimentarily upgraded to a suite. We were very appriecitive of the generosity of the hotel. We love coming up to Mackinac/Mackinaw, and we will continue to come up and reserve through the Chamber of Tourism.These comments are from a verified stay

We had a room facing the lake, we could watch the boats going to and from the island. We traveled to Grand Marais, Whitefish Pte., Cross Village for dinner. We had a wonderful time, the cost of the 3 night stay quite reasonable, and we really appreciated the nice breakfasts offered - it saved us additional money. We had a beachfront view with a private balcony & it was beautiful.The weather could not have been more perfect.The room was spacious & clean. 8 out of 10We received an on-line discount which started us on a good note. The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the view from our little balcony. The beach was much appreciated!! Originally, we were a touch frustrated that so many of our neighbors were feeding the gulls from their balconies-- which hindered our ability to enjoy them as the birds were suddenly expecting food from us, and even attempted to take our pizza-- but! Before we could even say anything, an employee placed a small, but legible sign on the beach. "Do not feed the birds." And, it did stop, whether it was the sign or the neighbors all checked out... Not sure, but we were pleased. We did not utilize the pool or the waterparks as we had plenty to do, but we saw many pleased families. Our main suggestion would be the breakfast.... we understand the difficulty of feeding so many folks, but four mornings of the same caused us to have a late breakfast elsewhere. Hotel is definitely dated, but for the price, our room opened to the beach, the staff was excellent and friendly and it was convenient walking to downtown and the ferry without draining the budget! 8 out of 10I had no idea we would be on the top floor with no elevator. My back was sore so this was a chore each time. The room was nice, clean and cool. One suggestion aside from the elevator is, don't heat the pool in the summer! The pool was nice and clean but too warm.
