PERKS: you park right outside your door, waterpark/pools are a few steps away, short walk to Star Line and restaurants, clean rooms, friendly staff, pet friendly, and they came to our room immediately when we had an issue with one of the tv's. The cabin we stayed in was comfortably cozy but the water pressure was low for showers and our porch light could use some maintenance. Did you find this helpful?|This place is amazing and spacious. I brought my 3 grandchildren up there and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was clean with a beautiful view of the water. I loved it as well as the kids. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The room was decorated nicely and was clean (except for food left in the refrigerator) It got cold at night but there were no extra blankets and the A/C-heater unit was somewhat noisy but that is typical for those types of units. The jacuzzi was just a huge bathtub with jets that didn't work. The available water play park was a nice addition. Cabins Of MackinacCabins of Mackinac Suzanne from St Clair Shores stayed in July 2022We didn't stay in the cabin, but in their hotel room. The interior design is quaint & "cabin-like." A few concerns about maintenance - there was no smoke detector; however they fixed this when we asked; as well as the missing light bulbs. The exterior of the room does not match the interior; as the little porch outside the room is in need of painting & repair. Very early in the season. Sadly only complaint is we saw 4 people get pulled over the 2 days we were in Mac City. Plenty of room in the loft but no night stands or hooks. Basically no place to put suit cases or hang clothes. Needs at least some hooks. An additional chair at least would be helpful. The only thing I recommend is cleaning and dusting a bit better there was still wristbands from the previous people on the floor. Also maybe re-caukling around the bath tub.
