They were very accomodating. We'd asked for 2 adjoining rooms and they were able to handle that. The breakfast was just average though. Nothing very special. Staff was extremely friendly though.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The room was large, nice and clean and we had a room on the beach as we had requested. However, we were told we would get an upper floor with a deck. The deck area on the main floor was a bit smaller, but over all it was a nice place to stay. We would definitely consider staying here again.

A great value. The pillow-top beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. I am diabetic and was pleasantly surprised to find diet syrup on every table to go with the yummy waffles.

We really enjoyed our stay at Clarion Hotel. The lady that cleaned our room and the lady that ran the breakfast buffet were very friendly and made our stay more enjoyable. It was nice to come back to a clean room and to be greeted by the stuffed animals that were neatly placed on my children's beds. We can't say enough how nice it was to be greeted by a familiar face each morning at the breakfast buffet. The lady always had a smile on her face while singing along with the positive songs on the radio she had playing. Wow! That really started our day off on a positive note! Other customers stated the same thing-to hear nice music and to see a smiling face every morning. I have referred your hotel to 9 of my staff members. Actually, two of them have already booked a room for next year! I would like to say the front desk staff were not as friendly or welcoming as the housekeepers and the women serving breakfast. If the front desk staff had the same attitude and friendliness, I would have rated our stay "outstanding". Sincerely, The Thomas Family

Great service and location. Room was very nice. Did not like two ( 2 ) tiered room pricing. $119 for one day, $139 for next two days. Should be consistent since all were weekdays.

The price for the rooms was very reasonable and the staff was courteous and helpful. I booked the rooms on the internet and requesting ajoining rooms, if possible. We had no problems getting the rooms together, which was very helpful to us. The breakfast buffet was a good way to start the day and kept us going until late in the afternoon. The beach was great and the we had a wonderful time swimming in the lake. Thank you also for the waterpark passes. The kids really enjoyed that. This hotel was recommended to me from a friend of mine that had stayed here last year. I would definetly stay here again, and recommend the hotel to my family and friends. Regards, Sharon McEvoy

The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and professional, the breakfast was awesome. The only negative was that the coffee pot in our room was broken, so we couldn't have coffee when we woke up the first moring. It was replaced immediately, so we were happy.

We did not spend a lot of time there, but they were very clean and attractive. The only complaint I would have is that the air conditioners did not pull the humidity from the rooms good enough. Other than that they were good rooms and I would stay again.

This is the 5th year in a row we have stayed at the Clarion Beachfront room. The view is breathtaking you can see Mackinac Island from your room, the rooms are clean, the complimentary breakfast has everything for every individual,whether you like sweet foods, healthy foods, or hearty foods. The Arnold ferry line to Mackinac Island is next door, walking distance, which makes for an easy access. It is always a great experience. We love it here.

My only problem was that we were on the 3rd floor, beachfront, and there were steps involved to get to the room. However, I managed OK and it wasn't the Clarion's fault - I didn't specify "no steps" when I booked the room. We took two grandchildren there and they enjoyed the beach, lake, and pool. Also was a nice "perk" that they gave us tickets for indoor water parks and other % off offers.
