10 out of 10The price for the rooms was very reasonable and the staff was courteous and helpful. I booked the rooms on the internet and requesting ajoining rooms, if possible. We had no problems getting the rooms together, which was very helpful to us. The breakfast buffet was a good way to start the day and kept us going until late in the afternoon. The beach was great and the we had a wonderful time swimming in the lake. Thank you also for the waterpark passes. The kids really enjoyed that. This hotel was recommended to me from a friend of mine that had stayed here last year. I would definetly stay here again, and recommend the hotel to my family and friends. The only negative was that the coffee pot in our room was broken, so we couldn't have coffee when we woke up the first moring. The view is breathtaking you can see Mackinac Island from your room, the rooms are clean, the complimentary breakfast has everything for every individual,whether you like sweet foods, healthy foods, or hearty foods. The Arnold ferry line to Mackinac Island is next door, walking distance, which makes for an easy access. It is always a great experience. We love it here.These comments are from a verified stay

8 out of 10My only problem was that we were on the 3rd floor, beachfront, and there were steps involved to get to the room. However, I managed OK and it wasn't the Clarion's fault - I didn't specify "no steps" when I booked the room. We took two grandchildren there and they enjoyed the beach, lake, and pool.
