8 out of 10We had a good experience at the Clarion. The front desk was friendly. The room was OK, your average hotel room. The first thing I did was check for bed bugs. Mattresses were clean as a whistle. I have 5 kids, so we had to have place for 7. It was great that they had ONE room to fit all of us! It is expensive to pay for two rooms just for our family, which is what I have had to do in the past, or pay extra for a "suite" that will fit us which ends up being almost the same price as two rooms. The morning buffet was excellent as well. We enjoyed our stay despite the fact the town was pretty much 'closed.' The only thing that was not pleasant was, going outside in the freezing rain to get to the pool area. My only criticism would be to have the extremely large TV cabinet on the wall opposite the sofa instead of the beds. 10 out of 10John helped us out so much with changing rooms, recommending a restaurant, etc. Got the price on the internet and it was honored at the motel. He was very good. Rooms were clean. We had one problem with TV and it was taken care of immediately. Breakfast was the best! One thing we did not like was the cancellation policy. Most motels have a 24 hr. in advance notice with no charge. This motel was 3 day.These comments are from a verified stay
