The staff was friendly, the room was clean and breakfast was more than we expected! Our room was also comfortable for our family. Having seperate beds for our children was definite plue. This was just an overnight stop for us this trip but we are thinking about making Mackinaw City our destination for a future vacation and will likely stay at the Clarion.

Hotel room was very clean and nice view. It was really nice to be within walking distance from town yet having a little privacy. The package wasn't really that beneficial and wasn't much of a savings. It was nice to have everything pre-paid though.

I stayed there with my 7 year old Grandson. It was his turn to go to Mackinaw Island with Grandma. Your staff was so very friendly and made a fuss over Kaleb so he felt really special. They helped make are Grandma,Grandson weekend very special. Our accomidations were great too.

We were taking our Mom to Mackinaw for her 80th birthday, so we asked for a 1st floor room overlooking the lake for her special day and to please not substitute. They not only gave us what we requested, but an even bigger room on a corner with extra windows. The staff was very friendly and helpful, both in person and on the phone. All of the areas (reception,rooms,pool,free brunch and beach)were clean, warm and inviting. The parking was close to the room and the free brunch was tasty and offered something for everyone. Our family is planning on making this an annual event and we will definitely stay at this hotel again next time.

My family and I usually stay at the Clarion during the Mackinac Island 8.2 mile race. On that Saturday it would be helpful for the runners to be able to have the breakfast buffet a 1/2 hour earlier. It is a little rush to eat and get to the boat. Just a thought. Thanks, Brad Harris

Hotel was great and this is my 3rd year staying there, however we always seem to be placed in the Northwest Corner of the Hotel where the Wi-Fi is very bad and it's hard to get internet service, if they could add a few more hotspots in that location I would have given them a rating of Outstanding, We will see what happens this year as I expect to be back again in Oct.
