The room was very clean and very nice breakfast. They don't tell you at check in that you need to request room service. Quite odd as we had to ask for toilet paper and trash pickup. Otherwise, it was a nice stay!

Rooms on the street side are definitely noisy with road noise. Breakfast included though unremarkable. Room nice but missing little things: for example no tables next to the comfortable chairs, no hooks.On the plus side, the room does have a fireplace. The common areas are very nice and comfortable.

Lovely welcome by front of house staff when we arrived, set the tone for our family holiday. Great clean fully equipped interconnecting rooms, with lake views.We used the pool and the children had good fun there.I would definitely recommend and hopefully get a chance to return some day.

The Beach and Bay was very nice, a good value for the money. Great view from our balcony! My only complaint is that the pool was way too cold to use (78 degrees, brrrrrr). I didnt go in any deeper than my knees before heading to the hot tub. Even my husband, who is much tougher than I only stayed in for a couple minutes. I was looking forward to exercising in the pool so that was disappointing. Otherwise everything was very nice. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.

The view would have beautiful but the windows were in bad shape- couldnt open and close very well, and the window seals were in disrepair which blocked the view. We liked having two areas in our room. I think the whole place needs to be updated and repaired, and the beach needs to be cleaned up- too many weeds. But we enjoyed our trip with the bridge and visiting the island.

We love the location of the Mackinaw Beach and Bay, and the people are always very friendly and welcoming. However, the maintenance and cleanliness have gone downhill terribly over the past few years. The vents and tops of the windows/curtains were caked with dust and cobwebs. Several items needed to be repaired. My husband and I will try it again, because we really like the lake view, balconies and location, as well as the employees That being said, I wouldnt dare recommend it to anyone else because of the poor maintenance and cleanliness.

Enjoyed our stay. Clean, no problems with rooms. Staff was friendly and accommodating, bringing our two rooms next to each other. Great view from the rooms balcony to beach. Peacefully just far enough away from city center but still close enough to walk to if you want.

I know they just came out of a busy season, still the room could be cleaner. Debris in the wall mounted light fixtures, ac air vent filthy. Hopefully in the off season they fix other items like lose base boards, bathroom ceiling and wall around tub/shower. Online site indicated free breakfast but none available so we supported a local cafe/bakery. Also water noise in wall from ac unit constant.

The hotel was good and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. They do not offer a free breakfast on the weekends, but they do offer deals to a few breakfast places on the weekends.This was our 2nd stay there and we got a free upgrade on our room. That was great!We will stary there again.

Excellent two room, full bath, and additional sink room with balcony overlooking the beach and the Lake Huron water. We saw the sun rise over the water to start the day. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms spacious. There was plenty of parking and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I visited with a group of 6 and reserved the xl suite that had the 2 queen beds and 1 king with water front view from our balcony. The room was very clean, the only complaint was that the chain inside the toilet tank kept coming off which would not allow the toilet to flush. lol. I visit Mackinaw frequently and will definitely stay there again when we have a group. I really hope your hotel is open during the winter months.

Very nice. Front desk people always smiling and friendly. Only negative was the smell of the room. Don't know if it was from cleaning solutions or what.We've stayed here several times and will only stay there.
