Conveniently located on Huron Street, the Comfort Inn Lakeside is within walking to all that Mackinaw City has to offer, including the Mackinaw Island ferryboats, Mackinaw Crossings, downtown shops, theaters, outdoor concerts, restaurants, and a free laser light show.

Located on Lake Huron, the Comfort Inn Lakeside is one of Mackinaw City's finest. Excellent for swimming and sunbathing, our private sandy beach features a large sundeck and beach furniture. Enjoy the cool, sparkling water and the most fantastic views of Mackinac Island, the Island ferryboats, and the many beautiful and interesting sights and sounds of the famous Straits of Mackinac.

An elegant blend of colonial and traditional themes creates a comforting, relaxing atmosphere at the Comfort Inn Lakeside. All of our guest rooms offer two queen or one king-sized bed. Many of the rooms offer private balconies overlooking the lake, and in-room whirlpools are also available. A deluxe continental breakfast is served each morning on the lakefront. Refrigerators, telephones, PC hook-up and remote control flat screen televisions are standard in all our accommodations. For our guests' enjoyment, we also have an indoor swimming pool and the largest indoor whirlpool in Mackinaw City.

I was actually transferred to a different hotel due to damage to my room at the Comfort Inn. I was very happy with the communication and transfer. It was handled very professionally and appropriate accomidations were found for me and my family during the busy holiday weekend. Much appreciated.

I took my daughter and nephew up there for the weekend and we had a awesome time the weather was great. But, most of all they loved are room at lakeside commfort inn the swimming area was very clean and neat and are view from are room was awesome we sat on are balcony and would watch the different ferries come in. and are room itself was very clean and neat. And all the people that worked at the front desk was very nice and helpful. This is my second stay at lakeside and i will definatly be back next summer and i have reccomended this place to several friends and family members.

The place was very clean and we had a great view from our room. Nice continental breakfast and the lady that was there was very helpful on how to use the waffle machines and was right there for clean up. Nice front desk personal who was also helpful with information around the area.

The room was large and roomy. With a big open area as well as a pull out couch. Breakfast was simple and a variety would have been nice since we stayed several days but overall it was okay. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We were right on the beach and close to the restaurants. The kids enjoyed playing on the beach every morning and most nights. We had an extremely pleasant stay.

The customer service was great because we checked in after 11:30pm and I believe that they stayed extra late because I confirmed that we were on our way. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Instead of good I would rate it great. I did not rate it outstanding because I prefer hotels where you do not have to walk outside to get to everything, but that is not anything against the Comfort Inn Lakeside itself. The price was reasonable and was worth the money.

I rated this hotel average because nothing was really wrong but nothing was really great either. The room was fine. The free breakfast was disappointing. The area was small and messy and there wasn't many choices. When we travel to the Mackinaw area again I would look around first and then depending on prices I would chose. I could stay here again but I wouldn't rush back.

The accommodations were great far my family. We all loved the beach, pool and hot tub. It would have made the outstanding mark if the toilet would have functioned correctly and there was a computer available for guest use. it was great that I was able to use the hotel next doors computer.
