Conveniently located on Huron Street, the Comfort Inn Lakeside is within walking to all that Mackinaw City has to offer, including the Mackinaw Island ferryboats, Mackinaw Crossings, downtown shops, theaters, outdoor concerts, restaurants, and a free laser light show.

Located on Lake Huron, the Comfort Inn Lakeside is one of Mackinaw City's finest. Excellent for swimming and sunbathing, our private sandy beach features a large sundeck and beach furniture. Enjoy the cool, sparkling water and the most fantastic views of Mackinac Island, the Island ferryboats, and the many beautiful and interesting sights and sounds of the famous Straits of Mackinac.

An elegant blend of colonial and traditional themes creates a comforting, relaxing atmosphere at the Comfort Inn Lakeside. All of our guest rooms offer two queen or one king-sized bed. Many of the rooms offer private balconies overlooking the lake, and in-room whirlpools are also available. A deluxe continental breakfast is served each morning on the lakefront. Refrigerators, telephones, PC hook-up and remote control flat screen televisions are standard in all our accommodations. For our guests' enjoyment, we also have an indoor swimming pool and the largest indoor whirlpool in Mackinaw City.

Rooms were really nice, beds comfortable , balcony had a nice view of lake. Only thing we didn't like is we booked room because of the indoor pool , the down side you had to walk outside to get to the pool. The weather was to cold for us to want to walk back to rooms wet, so we didn't use pool. The breakfast was very good , I was surprised on the hot choices. Will stay there again , just book early .

We stayed 6 nights and it was wonderful! Our room was very clean and right where we wanted it. House keeping stopped by every morning to ask if we needed service, which was wonderful and breakfast every morning was delicious! Would definitely stay there again.

Checkin was easy. Had room ready and where it was requested. Since we stayed here last all the furniture was replaced with some awesome and quality pieces. I was impressed! The only thing I didn't like was the people who disregarded the no-smoking policy. (Not hotel's fault) If I came back I would definitely stay here.

They were very accommodating. We arrived early and they let us leave our vehicle there before we checked in. They also, checked us in with the understanding that we couldn't get into the room until 4:00 pm. Their breakfast selection was excellent.

The room was very good and met all our needs. The ability to get free passes to the Vista Beach Swim park was also a great plus that we used everyday. The only thing that prevented this from getting an outstanding rating was the very cramped breakfast area. While there is outside seating, when it is rainy and cold, and people are not using those outside tables there was very little space to sit to have breakfast and we had to wait to find space to eat. A larger breakfast area would be something to look into.

Room was ready and clean, great location, and the young lady was a big help when I went to the hotel next door thinking it was part of Comfort Inn. That was confusing being their hooked together, as it was for the guests that were following me from Ohio. The young lady actually walked me to my room, showing me the right turn :)

The room was very clean. They did everything to make our weekend getaway perfect. The Beach was very nice, even though the water was cold, we still jumped in. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and polite. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay, the reservations were just as we requested. The room was like new and everything was wonderful. Staff was great! The breakfast area could stand to be a little bigger, but selection was great and clean and the hostesses were very friendly and tried hard to please. They need to do something about the elevator situation for guests who are handicapped but that was not our family. Loved our stay!
