Also there was never any coffee made up when I went to the office and I was there for a 3 night stay.The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. 8 out of 10We were able to check in before our room was available, the breakfast was great as there was plenty of choices to pick from. The room was clean when we got back after a day of being on Mackinac Island. It is next door to Arnold Line which was great as that is our ferry of choice when we go to the island. 10 out of 10We had a wonderful two night stay at the Days Inn Mackinaw City in July 2014. The service we got at the reception was quick and efficient. We had some problem with our ferry bookings which was not done through the motel but she helped us immediately to rectify the situation. The rooms were very clean and we had a wonderful view of the lake. There was also a very nice breakfast included. Very quite during the night as well. 10 out of 10We were given a first floor room right next to our parking. It made it so very easy to pack and unpack car. The room was clean, and had windows and the sliding door, balcony. I like a room with lots of light and viewing! Stayed the 3rd and 4th of July. Did they plan it the way it was? The fireworks were right in the sky straight ahead over the water!! What a memory! This hotel has very nice , helpful people running it. Also loved just walking the short walk to ferry, and coming back tired, a convenient walk back to room to rest up a bit, and then on to more fun things to do!These comments are from a verified stay

8 out of 10We had a room on the second floor but there was no elevator. Being seniors in their late sixties, the climb was a bit difficult carrying luggage. My companion had tendon surgery three weeks earlier and was wearing a "boot" which was clumsy to begin with let alone have to climb stairs. The surgery was a surprise so we were not prepared for the lack of elevator. However, the breakfast was quite good with many options. We enjoyed the selections and breakfast area. The view was wonderful (we were on the lakeside) and the closeness to the boat dock was wonderful.
