The included in price breakfast was good. Limited seating and tables make it very busy mid-morning. Go early for best in-out time. The only thing I was not happy with is that they advertised free Wi-Fi. I thought this was in the rooms but found it was only available in the lobby. 8 out of 10Everything was wonderful at the hotel, but I have 2 suggestions to make it better. First, WiFi capability in the rooms would be great. Currently it is only available in the lobby and this is not very convenient. Second, some variation in the breakfast would be nice. Sure, most people may only stay a night or two so they would not need the variation, however, when the stay is longer it would be nice to have some variety. The continental breakfast was very adequate, and it was set up in an adjacent restuarant which was very spacious. The room was located on an outside corridor and there were no elevators, which was somewhat inconventient. The hotel was in a great location for the ferry to Mackinaw Island but a bit of a hike to shopping in the city. Swimming either in the pool or the beach area could have been better. 8 out of 10Although the rooms were old and could be updated, housekeeping made sure that our room was very clean and well stocked with supplies. The beds were very comfortable.(the comforters looked new as did the duvet cover). (The beach was a bummer) We had to walk quite a ways to the beach which was shared with the hotel next door and the pool was over a couple buildings but it was nice as was the hot tub. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice, it was in the old restuarant that used to be there so there was plenty of room. There was scrambled eggs, sausage , bisquits with gravy, waffles, fruit, taost,pastries, rolls, cereal, juice, milk and coffee.
