10 out of 10This rating is actually for the Hamilton Inn. We were supposed to stay at Days Inn Lakeview, but they were still under contruction so our reservation was moved over to Hamilton Inn. We got in late and the front desk crew was very helpful letting us know where everything was within the hotel and gave us brochures for the activities going on in Mackinaw. We received a great room with a view of the lake that also had a nice little balcony. They had a small breakfast buffet, but it was sufficient for the price we paid compared to other hotels we have stayed at. 8 out of 10Our room was nice and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The shower was nice and we had plenty of towels. All the employees that we came into contact with were very nice. The breakfast was good but it was a little bit inconvenient that we had to go to the hotel next door on our second day to have breakfast. We had trouble with a vending machine not delivering our choice and two staff came to our aid right away. The desk clerk gave me coffee at 4am when I wasn't able to make it in the room. 8 out of 10Our hotel stay was nice. The bed was a little short for my. Boyfriend but he managed. We loved the hotel breakfast! We both love waffles,savage and eggs and we made sure we had it every day. Front desk staff were very nice and polite. A few things I didn't like were : there was no way for us to plug in the wii and play it, the pool was covered yet all the doors stayed open so I would see spiders,mosquitoes and ants in the pool. The main reason for a 4/5 is that whoever cleaned our room threw away our pizza that was still in the box. I would most likely stay here again.These comments are from a verified stay

8 out of 10It's nice to have the room so close to the parking lot but the bad side of that is there is a lot of noise associated with being right next to the parking lot. The room was a little small but the bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of water pressure and hot water. The contenintal breakfast was the best I had on the 6 days I stayed in motels while on vacation. It was a lot more like a buffet style breakfast. It rated up with the $150 a night motels.
