The pool was also nice with the exception of a large group of men with 12 packs of beer drinking in the hot tub which prevented families from using hot tub! Not right! The staff was very attentive and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable. Their breakfast buffet has a very large selection of breakfast foods. They were wonderful getting people checked in. Hotel was kept up nicely, even for winter. Pool was actually warm and hot tub perfect. (I stay in a lot of hotels and never have a warm pool! Especially in winter.) Didn't get to try the breakfast because bridge opened back up the next morning, but we will try it next time, because we will definitely stay again. The breakfast buffet they serve is great. There is a lot of choice and the hot food is hot and plentiful. We did complain to the front desk on someone with 2 dogs that were left in the room across the hall from us as they barked for about a half hour and was upsetting to us and our service dog. We were not aware of anyone checking it out but they finally stopped barking so we figured the people came back. I liked the change in the toiletries since the last time I was there. Very unique!! The breakfast was ok but that gravy was awful!! The eggs weren't good either. We stay there often and I've learned not to even try the eggs. The gravy is usually a little better, although never great. Hot tub was extremely hot! So hot that it was burning instead of relaxing. Other than that very nice convenient place to stay. One recommendation would be to either have signs in the room or on the beach telling people to Not feed the seagulls. We could not enjoy our porch due to the seagulls swarming so close bc our neighbors were feeding them. I realize they think they are being helpful but they are not as seagulls can get very aggressive toward their own if they are hungry.
