The full 7-10am self serve breakfast bar contained everything we could want for: Biscuits and Gravy, Sausage, Scrambled Eggs, cereal choices, cinnamon breads, bagels, english muffins and the toppings. (Toaster Oven) Make your own waffle, coffee, Orange Apple or White Grape Juice, etc. Our room on Thurs was $59 and the included breakfast saved our family of 3 many dollars. Friday was $89 for family of 3. Our room was clean, TV worked well - no surprises on our bill. Discount at local restaurant Dixie's. Although we didn't use it the pool area looked well used and inviting. We definitely appreciated the free upgrade we received at this last visit to a lakeside room - the rooms on that side are slightly larger and was nice for our family of five. We actually have a family home just outside of Mackinaw City, but still stay occasionally at this hotel in the winter to take advantage of the water park admittance for our three kids - it is sort of a "2nd vacation home." We were disappointed after 3 hours on the road to find that the only 2 restaurants that we could find open on a Thursday night closed their grill down just after 9.
