Had a dead battery, staff were very helpful with extension cord and were more then willing to help in any way they could. Stayed Four nights and the cleaning staff was very friendly and accommodating for extra towels and bathroom items. The Hamilton was very clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend the hotel to any one looking for a place to stay in Mackinaw City. This by the way was Our ninth year staying there. The room was comfortable and not cluttered, very comfortable bed, nice view of the lake and the sunrise. Adjacent to one of the ferries, which was fun to watch and made for a two minute walk to get to the island. The room was totally quiet; heard not a peep from the rooms next door or from the ferries just outside. We had to ask for an extra blanket and for washcloths, rather than having them supplied in the room, and the TV picture was not working properly; these were things that housekeeping should have attended to before the room was occupied, but they were only minor inconveniences.
