My Husband & I loved this hotel! Our room was right on the beach and the room was just wonderful. Great breakfast with many choices, front desk people were very accommodating too, especially since I left my computer charger and stylus pen and they offered to send it to me. Definitely will be going back again! We loved Mackinaw City!!!

Great view, great location, breakfast could be a lot healthier. Needs more fresh fruit less fatty sausages and waffles! Room was very nice and clean! Bed was comfortable and the price was right! Less then 1/2 of what it cost to stay on the island. I had an amazing time visiting Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island.

The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The pool was very nice and the hot tub was nice and hot. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful but some of the staff seemed like they didn't like their jobs. I was so disappointed in the breakfast. I liked the eggs and the waffle maker but the sausage was terrible and there wasn't enough variety or fresh fruit. Otherwise, we were very happy there and would stay there again. The location was very convenient and I liked that I could include the ferry and the other attractions in my hotel fee so that those tickets were ready for me when I checked in. It's a very nice hotel and it was quiet at night, which I also really liked. We enjoyed our stay in Mackinaw very much.

Overall we would rate our stay good. Rooms were clean and accommodating. Breakfast was average with limited help it seemed. The major complain was the number of rooms booked next and around ours to what seemed un-supervised youth who congregated in the hall ways to all hours of the night talking very loud. We mentioned it to the management but they did not seem to be able to deal with it. Yes, we do understand youth will be youth. Location was favorable, btw.

We had requested a two queen room with a water view. When we arrived, they upgraded our room to a suite for only $10 more. We could not have been more surprised and pleased. The room was gorgeous and very clean. It was also fairly quiet, which was saying a lot since the hotel was full. It is a great location--within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. The desk staff was very polite and helpful. A++ experience!

My Daughter and I had an incredible time. The Hotel room was clean and pleasant. There were many things to do, and the sights were beautiful. We were not able to secure a lake view room, which was disappointing. Hopefully if we are able to return, we will get a room with the lake view. The only suggestion I would make would be to cool off the interior corridors of the Hotel. It was extremely hot in the hallways and the lobby. We didn't use the pool because it was just too hot, and the chlorine smell was over powering. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay at the Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront.
