When I arrived there was no reservation in the computer for me but I had confirmation. The guy at the front desk did some looking and found it on paper and with some rearranging had me in a room quickly.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. Both times we stayed we had comfortable rooms, clean, and a great view. We go to the UP every year and stay here on the Friday before. After a long drive the hotel is very nice. employees are very friendly and helpful. The only thing was the price for off season. it was a bit higher this year than last. Well almost double. Other than that we will definitely come back next year.

The rooms were excellent-the beds were above average, the best bed i have ever slept on in a motel. the staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was pretty good too. I'm coming back again in March and will certainly recommend it as the best place to stay in Mackinaw City

My brother and I stayed at the Hamilton Inn in January. I continue to rank the Hamilton Inn as the best in Mackinaw City. During the off-season, the Hamilton Inn is one of only two hotels that are open. I was unable to connect to Google in my room, however the small business area allowed me the use of the internet. Breakfast still needs to be upgraded and improved. Second night I was kept awake by rain pounding on something metallic. Heating unit is loud, however heat level was comfortable. Major snow storm hit the last evening I stayed. No noticeable attempt on the part of the staff to plow the parking area. More restaurant selections are needed in the evening or basic sandwiches could be offered for sale in the breakfast area during the off season.

I had reserved a king room with jacuzzi, when we got there to check in they had upgraded me to a bigger room and at the other end of the building because the other half was filled with more kids because of some tournament that was going on. They said it would be quiet. VERY nice of them

The hotel rooms were very spacious and nice. It was disappointing that the groups that were staying at the hotel for a local hockey tournament were told they had to leave the large breakfast room at midnight.

We stayed at this motel some years back, and were more impressed with it at that time The room we now had needed attention with some repairs, particularly in the bathroom. But overall, I would stay again. Well worth the night stay cost. breakfast was wonderful. the room was comfortable and clean. I've had good motel and reasonable price through your website.

They go out of their way to make us feel welcome. We come as a family of 5 rooms with grandkids and they have a blast in the pool and then we go upstairs to the breakfast room for pizza and gifts exchange. The kids love the open room and they can have fun and we don't have to worry. The personal touch is great.

I can not say enough about our wonderful stay in Mackinaw. The rooms were not just clean they sparkled. The beds were so comfy, I had a wonderful nights sleep. The staff was helpful and friendly. The staff at the Hamilton is OUTSTANDING!! From the welcome we receive every time we stay there to the fast service when we requested extra pillows/towels etc. to the amazing breakfast bar they have. I've stayed in many of the other hotels in Mackinaw City and we always come back to the Hamilton because they are the BEST IN TOWN!!

Staff was friendly, room was very clean. It had no stale or artificial cover-up type odors, and the beds were very comfortable. The halls were quiet and clean also. Nothing presented an impression of being stale. My wife said the coffee was very good, which never seems to be the case elsewhere. The only quite poor thing was the beyond wimpy showerhead..it seemed to have been left over from a previous old hotel.

Room was ready when we got there. Room was on first floor. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Everything worked. Breakfast included eggs, bacon, biscuits/gravy, juices, coffee and tea. All at temperature they were supposed to be. Front desk staff was efficient and helpful. Parking was close to door and room. Hotel was strategically located. Room keys included discounts to local establishments.
