The pool and access to the water park was a plus for us. Both the hotel pool and water park pool was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast bar was ok. Food was acceptable with much more variety than other places. The only negative is that only one staff person was working the breakfast area and when a large group of people came to have breakfast there was a long wait for many items - eggs, sausage, gravy, juice, waffle mix, and syrup. If you didn't want any of those items then it was fine. Not one piece of equipment in the workout room (3 treadmills, 2 stationary bikes and 1 weight machine) worked. Very disappointing. Would stay again based on the room, pool and the view as those positives are the most important and helped balance out the negatives.These comments are from a verified stay

The forecast for the 8th was for rain and cold. It was our 49th anniversary so we made a reservation for that night. We checked out of Wlderness State Park, came into town and had lunch then headed to the hotel. Although it was too early to check in we decided to see if an early check-in was possible. I explained our situation to the lovely woman at the front desk. She didn't have a regular room ready yet but offered us an update to a king suite for $10 more than the room we had reserved.
