The staff at every level is always courteous, welcoming, and professional. This is the only hotel we stay at when we visit Mackinaw City each year. It is also kept exceptionally clean and well maintained. However, appearances aside, it is the people that work there that make the Hamilton Inn our preferred hotel when we come to town.

A little above average for a typical tourist trap location - good rating because room was clean. Hotel was fairly clean, especially for a beach front but could use some maintenance in public spaces. Long, confusing corridors. Breakfast was more than continental, but very average. Courteous staff. Beach access was OK once you were able to navigate to it, but beach itself was very unspectacular.

The shower drain did not drain properly, I was standing in ankle deep water while taking a shower. One sink did not drain properly, other than these 2 items it would have been outstanding and we would stay there again. The room itself was very nice and organized.

My Wife And I Were There To Spend Some Alone Time Together For Our 30Th Anniversary. The Staff Was Friendly And Helpful, The Room Was Comfortable And Clean With A Nice View Except We Couldn't See The Bridge From There But That's Not Your Fault. We Found A Nice Quiet Spot By One Of the Ferry docks. Overall We Would Come Back And Recommend This Hotel To Others.

This was our second year in a row staying here. We like the lakefront side rooms. Front Desk ***** Housekeeping ***** Comfortable beds ***** Breakfast Bar ***** Air conditioning in room ***** Towels ***** Bathroom Clean and stocked ***** Pillows ***** Pool ***** Exercise room ***** The only thing that wasn't excellent but it was fair was the Internet. We didn't complain because we were on vacation not business trip. If you are on vacation up in mackinaw and complain about the Internet....well that is sad! Lol

The staff was outstanding. There was a woman who helped us get our luggage to the room, and she helped get the scooter out of the car. Further, she helped us get the luggage down on the day we left. Everyone was so very nice and helpful. Truly Outstanding Staff.

A relaxing place to stay and enjoy the lake front view. The front beach was gorgeous. Although the beds needs new mattresses and also the breakfast is good to have different menu in some days of the stay not always the same thing . But overall a very good hotel . We enjoyed a lot.

I enjoy your hotel very much. I had one issue that I wanted help with for and my call was never returned from your main office. A $30 rate difference for booking online was available but because the call was made after Noon on Friday the booking for Monday was allowed to be change.

My family and I were very pleased with our stay at Hamilton Inn in Mackinaw City. The customer service was wonderful and very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet. When we go back to Mackinaw we will be staying at the Hamilton Inn Select, and I will be recommending the Hamilton Inn Select to anyone who mentions Mackinaw!!!!
