We were not informed prior to registering that we would have to climb stairs to get to our suite. This was difficult for one member of our group. The air condition set up for the second room was inadequate...had to freeze in main room in order for the second room to be comfortable. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay. The view from the balcony was great.

The staff was very helpful. The lakefront Q was overbooked for 2nd night so we were given the lakefront King/w jacuzzi for the same rate for both nights. The hotel was very clean & convenient. We could leave our car parked and could walk to the ferry and nearby restaurants. we had a very enjoyable stay.

We had to change our stay from September 8th to September 15th. and we stayed for 7 days in which we enjoyed to the fullest! The rooms are always clean and well stocked. Every year we visit, we request a certain room # and each time we are granted that request and we really appreciate that. We have been visiting here for the last 20+ years and we are always greeted at the front desk with hospitality and warmth and we do appreciate that; I do have a question though, why is it that sales tax in MI is only 6%, but hotels charge 8%? Is that a standard fee that's charged in hotels?

This was the first time I stayed in Macknaic City, I have stayed on the Island sereval times. This hotel was outstanding. My guess from Belgium was truly impress with our stay at the Hamliton Inn. I will be back next year and this is my hotel of choice.

The staff at every level is always courteous, welcoming, and professional. This is the only hotel we stay at when we visit Mackinaw City each year. It is also kept exceptionally clean and well maintained. However, appearances aside, it is the people that work there that make the Hamilton Inn our preferred hotel when we come to town.

A little above average for a typical tourist trap location - good rating because room was clean. Hotel was fairly clean, especially for a beach front but could use some maintenance in public spaces. Long, confusing corridors. Breakfast was more than continental, but very average. Courteous staff. Beach access was OK once you were able to navigate to it, but beach itself was very unspectacular.

The shower drain did not drain properly, I was standing in ankle deep water while taking a shower. One sink did not drain properly, other than these 2 items it would have been outstanding and we would stay there again. The room itself was very nice and organized.

My Wife And I Were There To Spend Some Alone Time Together For Our 30Th Anniversary. The Staff Was Friendly And Helpful, The Room Was Comfortable And Clean With A Nice View Except We Couldn't See The Bridge From There But That's Not Your Fault. We Found A Nice Quiet Spot By One Of the Ferry docks. Overall We Would Come Back And Recommend This Hotel To Others.
