10 out of 10I visited with a group of 6 and reserved the xl suite that had the 2 queen beds and 1 king with water front view from our balcony. The room was very clean, the only complaint was that the chain inside the toilet tank kept coming off which would not allow the toilet to flush. lol. I visit Mackinaw frequently and will definitely stay there again when we have a group. I really hope your hotel is open during the winter months.These comments are from a verified stay

8 out of 10For the price this.was a great hotel! (We purposely waited till after Labor Day to go so the prices were lower). We had a corner room on the top floor so our view of the lake, island and bridge was wonderful! It was very nice staying right on the beach:) We had some trouble with a couple items in the room, but those were taken care of within a reasonable time. No breakfast, but there are some amazing breakfast places in the city!! Delicious. As far as the hotel, I would go back! Try to get a top floor room!These comments are from a verified stay

The shuttle service to the ferry dock is so so convenient. The hotel staff was informative about visiting the island. Only needed lodging to sleep as we spent most of our day visiting friends in Wilderness State Park. Room was clean, staff was friendly, and pricing was reasonable. We felt very welcome by the gentlemen who worked in the evenings and the lady who worked in the morning. All gave us good advice about touring the area.
