Short walking distance to the Starline Ferry dock so you do not have to pay to park your vehicle when you take ferry to Mackinac Island. Older furnishings but very comfortable with local art work. I believe this is one of the hotels that is closed for the winter, which can't help in the aging process. Only complaint I have is that we purchase ticket for ferry from the hotel but they didnt tell us that we had to take the tickets yo the ticket booth and get them validated. We were in line and when we got to the gate they told us that we had to take them yo the booth and we lost our spot in line!!!These comments are from a verified stay

We couldnt believe how nice the room was..two large beds separated by bathroom/sink area for privacy each with dresser and TV first one has couch and second one door to balcony with wonderful view! Long beach with fire pits and chairs with firework show right on the water in front!! Short walk to Star Line ferry and restaurants so could take break from driving. Only disappointment was missed using pool area because it closed before we got back from fireworks then after Mackinac Island when we really were looking forward to hot tub . We were inconvenienced and the time waiting for breakfast made our travel arrangements a little stressful. We would love to come back with the breakfast option included.
