It also has the basic facilities like swimming pool and whirlpool, internet... Best of all, the price is good. I also liked the use of the luggage carrier for taking luggage to and from the vehicle. I like that there are lakeFRONT rooms & lakeVIEW rooms -- it's great to have the option of seeing the lake from the balcony while paying less than I would for a lakefront room. The building & room even smelled better than most hotels :-) -- it smelled like carpet powder was used when vacuuming, which is a nice touch. The breakfast room was a little small and one evening they forgot to unlock the door to the hot tub, but these are minor things that did not detract from the overall stay. View of lake was spectacular BUT not one soda vending machine in the entire hotel was in working order on any floor! We ended up walking across two parking lots to another hotel to get a can of soda. That is the only thing that was wrong, and we will come back when in the area. The location was great, the breakfast buffet was very good and the grandkids had a good time in the pool and on the beach in front of the hotel. 10 out of 10We had another reservation for a hotel down the street for the last 2 days of our stay there and decided that we wanted to stay at the Ramada for our whole stay there so your manager fixed it with the manager of the other hotel so that we could stay at the Ramada for our entire stay. Because of the number of days, we should have been charged for our stay at the other hotel but he called the other manager and fixed it so that didnt happen. 10 out of 10Our room had a small balcony and we were able to sit out on it and watch the boats going out and coming in. Also the complimentary breakfast was a great plus. We had 2 kids and they loved being able to help themselves and it saved us a lot of money by not having to go out to a restaurant. The kids enjoyed swimming in Lake Huron and also the pool at the hotel. We also took advantage of the free admission to the water park across the street.
