8 out of 10Great Location - close to boats going to the island, Mackinaw Crossing and shops in town. Friendly staff Older motel but everything worked and was clean. Grandchild from NV wanted to see the bats, but was informed by Pancake Chef emplayee that it was early for them. Usually mid to late July. The rooms were clean, but some aspects looked a little dated. The breakfast space could have been larger, which would have helped with the display of the food. 10 out of 10We were actually upgraded to the Hamilton Inn just up the road. Check in was quick, the room was great. We had a huge room, which I thought was a quite a value for what we paid. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast, but did go get a glass of juice each morning, and it looked like the breakfast that was offered was really good. That being said, the rooms were well used but clean with a comfortable bed; the balconies were not private in any way but at least we had one that 3 people could sit on and enjoy an evening drink; and the internet did not reach our hotel room.
