The Super 8 Bridgeview is the only log cabin hotel in Mackinaw City. The Super 8 Bridgeview is conveniently located directly across from 1000 feet of Lake Huron Beach at the base of the Mackinac Bridge. Colonial Fort Michilimackinac and the Mackinac Lighthouse are within 500 feet of the hotel. Did not stay at the Bridgeview. It was closed so we stayed at the Hamilton. Have stayed here before and would recommend it. I would rate this hotel above VERY good.

Motel closed for season after making reservations. I found this out by accident when I was checking on my reservations. I wondered if they would have notified me before I got there at 8 pm, or would I have been standing there at a closed up building. They had switched me to another motel " Hamilton Select", which was very nice. Hamilton Inn Select is the motel I'm rating.

We enjoyed our time spemt in our room especially the pine log bed and furniture!very nice since this was in northeren Michigan! Room was clean and was made up while we were out the next morning.I told her that was my expectation but she said others she and her husband had been too(not in Michigan)never does!We didn't have much contact with staff but they seemed friendly enough.Breakfast offered waffles although since I can't have wheat products I didn't have any but other visitors were.I was surprised at the selection of items offered. Our only complaint is the bathroom door was about 2 feet from the bed my daughter slept in!Being right across the street from a bridge view deserved an A plus!Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel

We were there for the Grat Turtle Race on Mackinaw Island and for our two night stay the room was clean and comfortable. The hot tub felt great after the 6 mile hike. The cost was very reasonable for this time of year. I would recommend this as it provided exactly what I expected.

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left our experience was a very nice one. The front desk associates were very nice and friendly. The motel was extremely clean .We will stay here again when we go back up to Mackinaw .

Location and price of the rooms were great! Service was excellent - front desk was polite; cleaning staff did a great job and even acknowledged the tip we left by leaving an intricately folded "towel swan" on the bed; staff at the continental breakfast was gracious and helpful and kept her calm demeanor through the rush of getting a tour bus fed in time for their deadline. Our only disappointment was that there were only hard wooden chairs to sit on.

We were very happy with the price we received through Mackinaw City Tourism website. The hotel was clean. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub & the hotel breakfast. The only suggestion I would have is that they should encourage their employees to smile. All the employees were nice, but very few were friendly or would even smile. We stayed there the 20th & the 28th of September. On the first stay we had an older gentleman that worked in the pool area that was friendly and on the second stay our cleaning lady was friendly, but other than that no one else smiled; not at check in, not at breakfast or passing in the hall. That would be my only complaint. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stays.

We were very satisfied with service, price, etc. There were a couple of repairs in the room that were needed. We did advise management. The shower handle was very loose and hard to adjust. The sink stopper did not hold water, but let the water seep out slowly. Other wise we were very satisfied.

The suite needed more places to hang towels. There were not enough convenient outlets as well. Please consider providing more storage and hooks in the bathrooms. Also, it was soooo hot in the breakfast room we coud not even stay in there to eat. Overall, the staff was very accommodating and we appreciated that.

Staying at the Super 8 Bridgeview was great. The only complaint I have is that the room smelled like something was burnt or someone smoked in it but the smell went away once the fan was kicked on. Service was great. The front desk was very helpful and the cleaning crew did an outstanding job. Will definitely stay there again in the future.
