The Super 8 Bridgeview is the only log cabin hotel in Mackinaw City. The Super 8 Bridgeview is conveniently located directly across from 1000 feet of Lake Huron Beach at the base of the Mackinac Bridge. Colonial Fort Michilimackinac and the Mackinac Lighthouse are within 500 feet of the hotel. Walk to the downtown area, enjoy a drink at the historical Dixie Saloon, and enjoy the free nightly laser light show. Shopping and Mackinac Island ferries are within walking distance. Actually more because we had requested a courtside room (to help save a few dollars to be honest)but we got a bridgeview room with a great view every time we looked out the window. The people at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly, they answered all of our questions, and even answered some we didn't think to ask. 8 out of 10The hotel itself was easy to fond and it was in a great location for checking out the sites. The front desk lady was super nice. My room was beautiful and very big. One thing I would change for my next visit would be NOT getting a room right next to the stairwell. I heard people (the drunk 20 somethings) go up & down the stairs all night long. Not a big deal, also the sheets on the bed were something to be desired, they kept pulling out but if they were fitted on the bottom that would be allot better. The cleaning staff were very friendly but the lady that worked the continental breakfast never smiled and was VERY rude to my sister, definitely NOT a people person.
