The Bell's Melody Motel is a beachfront, family motel. We provide simply clean, comfortable, quiet, economical rooms in a friendly family atmosphere located right n the "Straits of Mackinac". You will have a full view of the Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island from outside your door or from your private deck. The 800' of Sandy Beach and picnic area can be enjoyed by the fantastic view from lawn swings, wading in Lake Huron, grilling or having a snack at the picnic tables or gathering around a fire pit in the evening.

8 out of 10I actually stayed at Sunrise Beach one of the 4 properties they own I believe. I would recommend Sunrise over Bell's Melody. Sunrise Beach is lake side, with bridge view, has a nice sandy beach with fire pits in front of the ground level rooms. The room was clean, up to date, microwave, fridge, coffee, I had a balcony which was nice. The pool needs renovation on the property but the smaller one next door was nice to use. The staff was exceptional in assisting with anything wrong. Tracey was the best, very helpful she made sure everyone was taken care of and helped our family have the best vacation possible. House keeping is lacking a bit but we made due after a sand in the bed incident. I would recommend Sunrise Beach and I would stay there again for sure.These comments are from a verified stay

8 out of 10We actually were switched to the Northwinds Motel because our room at the Bell's Melody wasn't ready when we checked-in. The Northwinds Motel room was spacious and, though outdated, had what we needed. The proximity to the beach was outstanding. To be able to use other indoor waterparks at other hotels was a huge benefit. Our main issues were that the website was out of date. Some of the amenities listed were no longer provided such as free firewood and cereal at breakfast. Overall, it was a nice place to stay at a great value.These comments are from a verified stay

10 out of 10This is the 4th year we have stayed there. We love it! The rooms are clean and cozy. The people are very friendly. We have a very beautiful view of the bridge and island. 8 out of 10The only thing that was not as planned was that Bell's Melody was closed, but the owner transferred us to a room at the Sunrise Motel next door. The room was fine, and the entire stay of three days was great.
