8 out of 10Lovely hotel, nice staff. We have stayed here twice and each time, even though we booked for 5 people there were always only 4 towels in the room and only 4 left each time it was cleaned. We were told there was free WiFi but only managed to connect to the internet from our room for about half hour on the first day of a 4 day stay. I had to use the computer in the lobby to follow up on emails required to complete a business transaction during the week. Even with these inconveniences, I would stay there again with my family but that's why I couldn't give it a 5 star rating.These comments are from a verified stay

8 out of 10We had a nice stay. The rooms were cleaned everyday, but cleaned super late and we could hardly understand what the cleaners when they spoke to us. Also, the wifi didn't work at all in our cabin, when we were told it would. The bed was also completely uncomfortable, it felt like sleeping on a box spring. However, the water park was pretty cool! And the breakfast was nice too. Overall, we had a good experience and we will probably be back! It's beautiful up there!These comments are from a verified stay

10 out of 10The room was in excellent shape, cleaned well and all the amenities were there as promised. Additionally, when the power unexpectedly went out for a portion of Mackinaw City, my room being one of the few who lost power, the front desk handled the situation very well and sent me to an affiliate (I'm assuming) of the Econo Lodge, the Comfort Inn, to a better room with beachfront property at no charge to me. I would gladly stay at this location again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the city.These comments are from a verified stay

The woman working at the reception desk was kind enough to tell us that the Ferry tickets at the dock were cheaper than the discounted tickets offered by the hotel that weekend. The room was neat and clean although it did appear that the cleaning staff need to do some higher dusting and be a little more thorough with light fixtures, and the ceiling fan. It would also be nice if the hotel that the cabins partner with would staff the pool area at least during busy times as we had children diving head first into the hot tub, and it would be nice if the hotels could figure out an adults only time in the pool for guests who would like some pool time without being bombarded by children.These comments are from a verified stay

10 out of 10We spent two nights in one of the chalets and we were delighted. We got the off season rate and were thrilled with the value. The chalet was nearly new, quaint and quiet. We loved the rustic cabin feel. It was perfect for the two of us and we enjoyed the nice breakfast next door for both mornings we were there. 8 out of 10Very clean, new bathroom, roomy but we had to move a chest to plug in the TV. The refrigerator was unplugged and leaking water all over the floor. We would have to move more heavy furniture to plug it in. I put a tray on the floor to catch water. I would stay again, they were cute and we had a great night sleep. 10 out of 10We stayed at the Cabins of Mackinaw, our trip was wonderful. The hotel offers 3 other water park/pool facilities as well as their own and we tried all three. The pools and water parks were great fun. Our grand children had a great time. The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. 10 out of 10We loved the new cabins with the loft. Everything was great. One recommendation we have is that there be a dresser up in the loft as well. We were with another couple and we were in the loft bedroom and didn't have a place to unpack our clothing. We also stood in line for almost 30 minutes for the breakfast on Saturday morning and decided it wasn't worth it after we saw multiple kids sticking their hands in the food and taking food and putting it back, so we left and went and paid for breakfast at a different restaurant.
