10 out of 10We really enjoyed the first floor with a private deck and easy access to walk out to the water. The only down side was there was only one wash cloth in the room for two people. When I asked about more wash cloths we were given hand towels to use instead. This happened twice. Please restock your wash cloth supply.These comments are from a verified stay

The screen door needs repairing it doesn't shut properly and has a hole in the screen. The little patio was great for watching the water and bridge. The burn pit was a nice bonus. 8 out of 10The Sunrise Beach Motel was an older facility that seemed to be well maintained. It lacked some of the items of newer facilities. It was clean and everything worked fine. However looking out on the deck I saw the million dollar view of Mackinaw Island and Lake Huron. That is what made our stay very enjoyable! I am in the hospitality industry and I was very satisfied with our stay both times. Our second time here they were nice enough to give us an upgrade to a waterfront room.
