8 out of 10Very clean room. Liked this location also. Ad said there was a microwave but we did not have one in our room. The breakfast was not available as the people who bring it did not show up. The hotel did provide breakfast at hotel next door, this was a fix unfortunately it was inconvenient for us since we have ambulatory problems. 10 out of 10This is our 5th stay at Super 8 Beachfront. My husband is ill, but they ALWAYS are kind enough to give us the same room. It's the perfect location. the beach is wonderful. the staff helpful and polite. My only "complaint" if it is that, is there is no real "smoking area". I'm a rule follower. But, a few chairs or a bench around one of those few smoking poles would be greatly appreciated, especially for that morning coffee.These comments are from a verified stay

10 out of 10The staff there is always courteous and helpful. My husband has Alzheimers. We have stayed several times at this hotel. they ALWAYS honor our request for the same room. the room is always clean. If we need extra towels, they are there. Alas, we had a bit of a plumbing issue, (OUR fault, not hotels) and the maintenance man was THERE within FIVE minutes. This year, it seems they made some improvements to the balcony furniture as well as the beach area. No, it's not a luxury hotel. yes, it could use some "updating". BUT we would not stay ANYWHERE ELSE in Mackinaw City. It is in walking distance to everything we need to do.These comments are from a verified stay
