We loved our room on the first floor where we could walk right out the sliding door to the beach and the water. The location was convenient to places to eat and to shop and to take the ferries. We loved being next to the state park and pier. Everyone we dealt with at the hotel was courteous and helpful. Continental breakfast was fine. Question: How do handicapped access the breakfast room?

Hi :O) We had a really nice stay at Dockside Best Western....The only thing that I would of changed, is some of the items on the free breakfast bar....Something like yogurt, would be great for those watching what we eat...The fresh fruit had brown bananas in it that wasn't appealing at all...Overall,it was a very nice *CLEAN* hotel....Thank~You....Blessings~~ The Vredenburg's

We came to Mackinaw City for the truck show and parade. Our hotel was in just the right spot to relax after touring the show, go to dinner and step outside ans watch the parade. Our room was spotless and the breakfast was wonderful. The personnel when we checked in were helpful and friendly! We enjoyed out time in Mackinaw City very much.

The room was as it should be, very clean. The vew was great for us. The swan on the bed, made out of a towel was a great touch... We ask the cleaning lady to clean our room as we saw her in another room and she came right down and cleaned our room..The breakfast was great and a very good choice of items to choose from Thank you

The Best Western is a pleasant place to stay.WE enjoyed the convenience to the ferry and shopping.Their breakfast was very nice. My only complaint is that the AC in our room(302) was very loud and did not work well. I left a note re this in the room.

Rooms were clean, breakfast was great. Free waterpark was geared towards young children, not our teenagers but that was ok. Someone was smoking outside on the beach, because at about 11pm suddenly our room smelled like smoke (we had the sliding door open). Again, not the hotels fault. We enjoyed the free laser show. All in all a great stay.

Nice, very clean room, and attentive housekeeping service who catered to our special requests. Front desk personnel were efficient and business-like. Rates seemed high, but I suppose it's like that in all nicer hotels in Mackinaw in the summer. We had a small 4th-floor balcony which we enjoyed. It was awesome to be able to have the window/door open at night for ventilation since it was cool outside. Very nice beach and lounge chairs. Breakfast bar was good, and was kept well-stocked. We were there during a cooler week, but the temperature in the breakfast room was uncomfortably warm. Air conditioning in there would have felt good.

The rooms were very nice and clean. The indoor pool was also a good size and my children enjoyed it very much. The beach was lovely as well. I would have liked to had some fresh fruit on the breakfast bar, rather than canned fruit salad. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience.

Although the room was outstanding as far as cleanliness, location on the same floor as the breakfast buffet, size, and amenities, I am always frustrated with the parking situation at that hotel This was our fourth time staying there. I was given permission to park in a "no parking" zone because there were no more parking spots when we checked in late at night. However, the fact that we were given a large suite for the price of a smaller room, made up for the parking issue! Great place to stay. I will try to arrive earlier next time!!

This time I brought more family members with us. My mother & sister was impressed with the room on how clean it was being that it was on the beach, and the breakfast was great deal. Had a great time on the beach. As always my son and I enjoy the stay everytime we come. My mother already told my brother if he ever gets a chance to go up to Mackinaw City to stay he is was GREAT.
