The front desk staff were excellent especially at check in when our reserved room was not ready and we were accommodated. We found the Hamilton Inn extremely clean thought the whole premises. We did not use the pool facilities but we did go in and look around and it too was clean and you could tell other guests were very happy and very satisfied. We only had coffee, juice and fruit at the breakfast bar but it too was very a clean and top end room. Other around us were enjoying the vast options for breakfast. We pass through Mackinac numerous times a year as we have family north, but this was the first time we stayed here. This is our new favourite!

We went in the off season so we got a great deal on a room with a balcony overlooking the lake. The rooms and hotel were clean and updated. The breakfast was good and the staff was nice. The gentleman checking us in was nice and funny. We had a good laugh with him. Definitely want to go back. Maybe when we can use the balcony and not get frost bite!
