I love this hotel. I stay here atleast 20-40 nights a year and keep returning. Rooms are great and the staff make it that much better. Michelle and Sylvia are beyond amazing. I have stayed in almost every hotel in the city and this one for sure is my favorite

Took a while for the room to cool down and the second room that was attached was pretty warm. The side doors should close and lock at night. The breakfast was good. Front desk service was great. Plenty of towels was great

A very nice room with a view of the lake out our patio door. Received a great discounted room rate through AARP, and a nutrious breakfast before we checked out. We will definitely stay there again the next time we come that way. We recommend the Hamilton Inn Selrct very highly.

Room was upgraded on arrival, so that was nice. Breakfast was so-so; it would be nice to have a second breakfast meat option; there were no salt and pepper shakers on tables, just a basket of small pepper packets which struck me as odd. There was no jam/jelly for toasted items, which is also odd to me.

Great rooms soda machines didn't work on any floor. Breakfast ok would rather have bacon or thicker ham instead of boiled ham but very helpful staff . Forgot their names but from Jamaica. And night manager young man .

We were very impressed with the hotel room. It was very clean. We loved the view from our room. The price for the hotel was very reasonable. The breakfast was very filling. The only thing we missed in the breakfast was bacon or sausage. You served ham which we were not fond of. Overall I highly recommend your hotel!

I gave it 3 stars instead of 1 because of Zachary when I called he was very nice gave me a lot of information and then when I called back I talked to the manager and she was evidently very busy or had a bad day. The beach area is pretty, It was great that shepler ferry had a free shuttle. The pool is very cloudy dangerous you can't even see the bottom. We asked when the pool was gonna be cleaned she pointed to a guy and said that's what he's standing there for, how were we supposed to know who he was?. The beds are very comfortable the rooms are nice, The breakfast is basic, meat eggs and pancakes waffles. We got to use Crown Choice Waterpark, the kids slash playground is pretty clean and awesome the pool and jacuzzi were so cloudy you can't see the bottom which is again dangerous and water sprayers in jacuzzi didn't work so it was just a really hot pool.

Its a great location. Pool and hot tub are good sizes but they put too much chemicals in them. We couldnt stay in there very long. We opened some sliders but they came in afterwards and closed them. Staff during breakfast are awesome. I think the hotel should have better signage how to find the breakfast area. We were on the first floor and had a nice view of the Lake.

Only thing to complain about is that the offsite waterparks were not the cleanest, nor was everything in working order. Not the responsibility of the Hamilton I'm sure. Their pool and hot tub were clean, well maintained, and were great!

I stayed at that facility years ago, was very pleased with that stay, and stayed there again because of my previous good experience.Staff & facilities were excellent. I also liked the close proximity to the water & the STAR LINE BOATS, being right next to The Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront! However, I understand they were having equipment/scheduling problems. Therefore we drove to the Shepler facility!Also liked the availability of $ off money coupons that were available for several activities.JIMJIM Pacholski

The hotel was within walking distance to downtown Mackinaw City. Restaurants and shopping were nearby. Personnel at the hotel were extremely friendly and pleasant. Our room was clean and smelled great. Cleaning staff were friendly and did a great job. Would recommend this hotel.

The service was friendly. The room was clean. We stayed three nights and the complimentary breakfast was terrible. They served the same thing every day. There was no variation whatsoever, including powdered eggs, lunchmeat ham that had been fried, frozen pancakes, the fruit was not fresh and there was no potato option, which is one of the simplest items to offer. We were very disappointed with breakfast. I don't thing we would stay there again.

Parking was easy and safe. Front desk employees were beyond helpful each day of our stay from the easy fast check in to recommending places to eat.They also told us they had discounted ferry tickets for sale each day. Didn't deal with any of the housekeeping staff as we opted to not have service. Location was perfect, right on the water with a beautiful view and close to the ferry.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired and the first room didn't have any air conditioning at all. It was quite warm in there and there was no control to the air conditioning. All there was was a small fan.
