We did not stay there on 10/14, we stayed there on 10/21 and we enjoyed ourselves very much. The room was clean, the view was great and everything thing functioned just as it should. The free breakfast was quality food with a nice selection of healthy and not so healthy (but desired) items. The staff were friendly and helpful and the price did not break the budget. This was our 5th year in a row we have come up to enjoy the Northern Michigan Autumn and stayed at the Hamilton Inn with out an indecent or disappointment. We will be seeing them again next year.

We had the beach front room with the king-sized bed and Jacuzzi on the ground floor. We had a beautiful view and a small patio that looked out into the beach. The room was clean and and outstanding for the most part was quiet. The Jacuzzi had seen better days. The water continually drained so the time in the hot tub was short lived. Other than that, it was a good place to stay and we enjoyed ourselves. The beach was clean and it had lawn chairs. We sat out at night and enjoyed the sound of the water on the beach. We were able to buy the tickets for Mackinac Island and the hotel was close to the boats so it made it easy the next day to get to the downtown area on time. It was easy to check-in/check-out and there were no extra charges. We would stay there again, without the hot tub.

The suite was more than enough room for our party of 5. It was just a quick overnight visit. The room was clean and well stocked with towels, coffee, etc. Enjoyed breakfast! Second time we stayed at the Hamilton Inn and would stay there again.

We had a great time in Mackinaw City. The hotel was close to restaurants, the walking trail to Michilimackinac Fort and the ship to Mackinaw Island. You allowed me to have a connecting room with my son and his family. It was a great weekend!

We always enjoy our stay at this hotel. I'd give it a 5-star rating except for one small glitch. The alarm (which we did not set) sounded at 6 AM. This is the second time we've had this happen. I would suggest that the housekeeping staff check to be sure that the alarm is turned off when preparing the room for the next guest. Thanks.
