First the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Had a dead battery, staff were very helpful with extension cord and were more then willing to help in any way they could. Stayed Four nights and the cleaning staff was very friendly and accommodating for extra towels and bathroom items. The Hamilton was very clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend the hotel to any one looking for a place to stay in Mackinaw City. This by the way was Our ninth year staying there. Excellent Place to stay.

THE HOTEL WAS FANTASTIC. THE STAFF WAS EXCELLANT AND THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. IT'S IN A GREAT LOCATION WITH SO MUCH WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. I WOULD DEFINATELY RECCOMAND THIS HOTEL AND I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN

Room was immaculately maintained and cleaned. Breakfast was good. Tempurpedic beds were comfortable. Access to waterpark was great. If I had one complaint it would be ease of parking. We were towing a trailer and the parking lot was tight.

Overall it was a great experience and value. The room was comfortable and not cluttered, very comfortable bed, nice view of the lake and the sunrise. Adjacent to one of the ferries, which was fun to watch and made for a two minute walk to get to the island. The room was totally quiet; heard not a peep from the rooms next door or from the ferries just outside. We had to ask for an extra blanket and for washcloths, rather than having them supplied in the room, and the TV picture was not working properly; these were things that housekeeping should have attended to before the room was occupied, but they were only minor inconveniences. Overall a very nice hotel at a great price.

Because of handicapped situation, had requested adjoining or next door rooms. When not available, the management put us in a two bedroom suite for the same price. Difficulty with heat brought a repair person within 3 minutes. Exceptionally well maintained, friendly staff and a gorgeous rooms. Everything about the place made for a great stay. Keep up the good work!

The view from my room was beautiful. Nice clean, loved the refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. Enjoyed breakfast. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Easy assess to ferry. Bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed the space the sofa provided.

The room was amazing - it was lakeview with jacuzzi tub and separate shower with a TV in the bathroom. Service was very good - we had a problem with the TV but it was quickly fixed. Breakfast was very good as well. Next door to the ferry and we could easily walk to shopping. We also used the trolly tour which stopped at the hotel. We'd definitely stay there again.

All was excellent but it would have been perfect if the suites they chose to put us in (unrelated adult friends. We did not request suites) each had a door to the hall so we didn't have to invade the privacy of the person in the room with an exit door.

Our room that we requested was already booked and we were offered a waterfront room for (1) night and then moved to our room requested. We felt honored to be offered the waterfront room; we have been staying @ this hotel for over 10 years and we feel the warmth and feel welcome by the staff. We love the new changes in the rooms and my husband enjoys the breakfast room. Every year we stay, we just enjoy ourselves; thanks for such great, caring, hospitality for your guest.

Lovely, clean quiet hotel, right on the beach, and located perfectly for our boat ride to the island. The staff was friendly. Only reason for not marking outstanding was that our sliding door to the beach was not able to open without extra help. Would stay there again in future.
