Room was clean, very comfortable, nicely furnished and in excellent repair. The only issues I had were minor, otherwise I would have given an Outstanding rating: the gentleman who checked us in at the front desk lacked a welcoming personality, although he did perform the check-in functions completely. And, our room was missing coffee cups so I was not able to make use of the coffee maker. I will say that the young woman at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. She recommended restaurant and services around town, which was very helpful and made us feel at home. Look forward to returning for another visit to Mackinaw City. Our room was a king -jacuzzi suite. It was very nice. Very clean. Great view. Breakfast was good. Hot. Plenty to choose from - way more than you get at most hotels that include breakfast in their room price. And there was plenty of room to sit to eat. In our 2 room suite we had 3 TVs. One in each bedroom and one in the bathroom. My husband was in heaven! I have read comments about the front desk staff - they weren't the friendliest, but I didn't have any problems with them. Overall a good experience for us - but I could see that during the busy season it might not have been a great experience.
