The beds were exquisite! The office staff was attentive and helpful. No microwave, even tho listed as amenity online. The blueish lightbulbs were less than desirable. We were out of the room from 9:45 to 4pm, and room had not been cleaned yet.it was explained that it was a very busy day. I went to the office and asked for towels. The apologetic and very nice maid came and did a quick clean up of the bathroom. Apparently it was expected that we would be out of the room longer. We appreciated the fewer crowds and the lower prices, though would have preferred if more restaurants were open. The Best Western Plus Dockside Waterfront has a great location! We loved it here at the Dockside. Quick check-in, front desk was helpful by providing discount coupons and bottled water. The included breakfast was FABULOUS! Plentiful hot and cold items like pancakes, bacon, eggs, lots of toast options, oatmeal (with toppings), juices, yogurt, cereal, etc. Definitely something for everyone to enjoy! Great location too! We walked to downtown to shop AND we walked (with our rolling luggage) to Shelpler's Ferry as well.
