10 out of 10We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the property. It was like staying in a private home located in the center of town and directly across from the ferry. Larger and more open than a traditional hotel room with less noise. The cabin was spotless! There was one queen bed in the loft, one king bed in the bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper. No closets. No utensils. Small fridge. Limited drawers. No iron. Bring a towel and extras. The cabin sleeps 6 comfortably with plenty of room in the loft for children and sleeping bags. 8 out of 10Every year they upgrade something in the cabins. They are nicely remodeled, comfortable and clean. The staff at the desk are very friendly. My only complaint is that they eliminated eggs and yogurt from the breakfast buffet. If you want protein, your only option is sausage. I'm sure there are many people who can't or won't eat pork. But overall the place was awesome because of the proximity to everything... 8 out of 10Lovely hotel, nice staff. We have stayed here twice and each time, even though we booked for 5 people there were always only 4 towels in the room and only 4 left each time it was cleaned. We were told there was free WiFi but only managed to connect to the internet from our room for about half hour on the first day of a 4 day stay. I had to use the computer in the lobby to follow up on emails required to complete a business transaction during the week. Even with these inconveniences, I would stay there again with my family but that's why I couldn't give it a 5 star rating.These comments are from a verified stay

8 out of 10We had a nice stay. The rooms were cleaned everyday, but cleaned super late and we could hardly understand what the cleaners when they spoke to us. Also, the wifi didn't work at all in our cabin, when we were told it would. The bed was also completely uncomfortable, it felt like sleeping on a box spring. However, the water park was pretty cool! Additionally, when the power unexpectedly went out for a portion of Mackinaw City, my room being one of the few who lost power, the front desk handled the situation very well and sent me to an affiliate (I'm assuming) of the Econo Lodge, the Comfort Inn, to a better room with beachfront property at no charge to me.
