The pool was great and the overall location was very convenient for the ferry. We were surprised that the much touted 25 ft breakfast bar included the areas that had the coffee, tea, plates, and toaster. It was 25 ft of actual food choices. However, for free it was adequate. We received a personal phone call confirming our reservation. Upon arrival, we were greated by everyone at the reception desk and given an upgrade, which we enjoyed fully. The location can't be beat. Paying extra for the balcony view of the beach and Lake Huron was worth it. When we thought we left something behind in the room the staff was very accomodating. Maintenance was immediately sent to solve the problem which they did although it was 11:30p before they finished.
