My Husband and I stayed a couple of nights on Mackinac Island at one of the resorts . We decided to stay the last couple of nights in Mackinaw city. During the week the rates are cheaper then the weekend . We just walked off the streets and book a room from (Best western plus).You will so not be disappointed ,The front desk clerk , was such a doll and booked us a room with the lake view ,2nd floor. It is more memorable then the stay we had on Mackinac island . The price,the size of the room and cleanliness, a refrigerator other hotels charge for, huge flat screen t.v . right up a guys alley. Free breakfast , cant beat that.The location is perfect, park your car like we did for 2 days and walk to the pier, shops and Restaurants. Fresh air also great exercise. Best choice we made.
