The hotel and grounds were clean and pleasant. The staff were cordial and welcoming. The breakfast was yummy. The location was convenient. We'll stay there again, no doubt. I'm giving it an excellent rating because, while it wasn't the fanciest hotel I've ever stayed in, for the price we paid, it met and actually exceeded my expectations.

Overall, our stay was staisfactory. Room was clean, but it was missing a coffeee pot - when I called the front desk, they had one brought up to us. Breakfast bar was very good

Very nice staff and hotel room - I appreciated the free upgrade when there was a room snafu. The change was applied quickly and courteously.

It was obvious that the hotel had been winterized, and that was confirmed the next morning at check out when we were told that they had just opened for the weekend because of an over flow at neighboring hotels. Our original room had a clogged (frozen ?) drain, but we were quickly moved to another room. The breakfast was good but the hotel in general was very chilly. Would stay again for sure, but probably not in the winter months.

The hotel was clean, the staff was courteous and we enjoyed ourselves. I did have to call for maintenance for backed up toilet, and it took a while to arrive, but other than that a very good experience.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was pleasant, the rooms were nice. Enjoyed the water park. If I could give a separate rating for the 25' breakfast bar I would give you a Average. I would have liked to see box cereal with milk for the kiddies. Its quick and easy.

Breakfast was wonderful, room was clean and reasonable, only issue is that there are no life guards in the water park. I saw kids pushing other kids down the slide, going down 3 or 4 kids at a time, and general chaos. I realize that it is the parents responsibility to watch but I have young children and I was a nervous wreck when they were going down the slides that other kids would bowl right over them. I finally pulled my 4 year old and went to the outside pool. All in all a great rate but I wouldn't count on the waterpark being relaxing entertainment.

Staff was friendly, room was small but very clean. Breakfast was not what they made it sound like but it still served its purpose. Would have like to see a refridge in the room. We would suggest to others to stay at the Bayside

We needed a "changing room" to take our grandchilden to Pirate's Adventures. We found out that renting a room was cheaper than getting bracelets for all of the kids. We didn't sleep there, and were gone before nightfall. One of my grandaughters shut her hand in the door, prompting a phone call from the front desk about us being loud. Other than that, the people were great.

This hotel was perfect for us. We wanted to visit the island but not pay the high prices to stay the night there. Water park was a blast for my 11 year old. Breakfast was very nice, albiet a little crowded. No bells & whistles, but a very nice, clean hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend!

It was clean and the breakfast was great. We were disappointed in our room view. On the site it made it sound like it was directly on the water. I chose a lake view room thinking we'd be on the sand. Instead the road was in front and then we had just a peek at the water through the ferry docks. I felt it was a bit of false advertising.

My family and I recently stayed a the Bayside Hotel of Mackinac. This was one of our best hotel experiences we have ever had. The rooms were large and cozy, and very clean. The Hotel staff went above a beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family.
