We had a great experience at the Cabins of Mackinaw! The cabin was very up-to-date with flat screen tv's which included a DVD player, mini fridge, and jacuzzi. They were very clean and big enough for two families of four to share. Centrally located and walking distance to ferry's, shops, restaurants, etc. The only draw back was there weren't many grocery stores in town with good quality meats and fair prices. We love to BBQ and had to drive 15 miles to find a Super Wal-Mart, for more variety and better prices. Mackninac Island, is a must see! It's better to just rent bikes or horse carriages to get arround. We took our own bikes, but found out you would be charged a fee to take bikes onto ferry and you also needed a license. We opted to rent bikes on the Island. Also, be ready to have slow service. We are from Chicago and "fast" is our middle name. We are use to prompt and good service and various restaurants in Mackinaw, did lack in that department. Overall our experience was great! We would defintely be back again!
