They actually called me after I booked this reservation and told me this cabin will still be closed for the season. I postponed it to the following week. When we got there, they told us it is still closed & they moved us to the Hamilton Inn. I wish they would have called me a 2nd time to let me know. We were expecting a 2 bedroom cabin, and ended up with a normal hotel room with 2 beds. We have 2 adults & 2 children. The positives were: ended up with a beach front room, included a great breakfast every morning that was on the same floor (kids loved going to it in their pj's), and it included the waterpark, which was amazing!! Overall, had a wonderful experience!

Nice location, private, close to waterpark. The room was ice cold, cold-soaked, heat off when we arrived--it was still winter (April hah). the rooms are modern. The in room hot tub was huge.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and the decor was really cute. We enjoyed having our own private cabin and not having to hear noise from another room/hallway like you do in traditional hotels. A couple of drawbacks: The coffee provided in the room was not good (it made a very weak pot). And the breakfast buffet in the hotel next door stopped service at 8:30 AM (too early).

The cabins were lovely. Very cozy. My family and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely book the cabins again for our next vacation to Mackinaw. We had wonderful service from the front desk clerks as well. What a pleasant stay we had!!

The cabin was beautiful. My family was able to enjoy our trip. One suggestion would be to somehow utilize the extra space in the loft with something, maybe a desk or small couch.

At first I wasn't sure we would like being in the older section behind the front cabins; however, the cabin was big, plenty of room, nice decor and very private. We loved it.

I would definately stay again. I will say that when we pulled up to our cabin my four year-old called it a shack, it is a little brown building with a step and a picnic table next to it. Not as impressive as the two-story option at the front of the complex - however when you open the door you'll be amazed. It had a nice sitting area with a couch, a table with two chairs a tv and fridge. I will say it was the teeny tiny fridge for pop cans, a larger fridge would have been nicer for some staples since we stayed a week. There are 2 bedrooms with beds, one room had a tv. A very nice sized bathroom, our room had a large standing shower. I don't personally care how they look on the outside and I was very pleased with the inside. It was quiet, we were right next to the playground and could hear nothing. The rooms do not have dressers, the dresser is the tv stand in the common area (totally fine with me) - at least in 320 where we stayed. We had a very comfortable walk to town, the breakfast gets a bit chaotic for the amount of space used to get food but it was very good, the water park was a nice distraction for the kids for a few hours. Overall, it was a good experience.

The cabin was very nice, clean and pretty comfortable. We rented the larger ones, and it could have used another chair or two in the main room. It was very cute though, and we had a nice time. We would come back or recommend it. The only thing that was not great, was the shared breakfast. The hours and trying to get there before 830 on the weekends was a bit much to expect. We tried one morning and the line was very long and it was very hot and humid in the building. (I realize it is above the water park.) We ended up going to other resturants to eat.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The kids thought it was great to stay in a "little house". The cabin was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nice. The grounds were very quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

We love the remolded cabins! Breakfast was always good, but WAY understaffed. There was always a long line due to the fact that the staff could not keep the food coming fast enough. I would highly recommend doubling the breakfast staff!

I felt that the cabin was was adequate for our needs. The only confusion arose from the fact that when I booked the room, I thought I was getting the two story cabin as opposed to the older, single story cabin. The explanation was satisfactory but I am sure there are others that might not feel the same way. All in all, it was a good experience and we would stay there again.
