The staff although not rude seemed indifferent when we interacted with them. The room was clean and correctly supplied although I couldn't find a connection for the wifi that was advertised.

The guest rooms were clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy. The hot breakfast each morning was excellent ! The hotel was in a great location for the ferry to Mackinaw Island but a bit of a hike to shopping in the city. Swimming either in the pool or the beach area could have been better. The pool area needed cleaning and the beach was overgrown. We walked to another beach area for swimming. Overall, a very adequate stay for the price. Thank you.

The room was clean and the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool area was great. The only negitive comment I have is the women in the breakfast room. The breakfast was fantastic. Food was great. However, the women that was in charge of the room was very unfriendly and a little rude. She answered questions in forms of grunts or pointing. All other staff was very friendly with this one exception.

Location was good. Close to the Arnold Ferry. Lakeview was awesome, although if looking to be on the beach, maybe another location would be better for you. This is a lakeview property, not beachfront. Room was clean and staff was friendly and accomodating. Jacuzzi Tub was a little high if you are traveling with a elderly person. Tub did not have any grab bars, which made it diffcult to get in and out of for my mom. Breakfast was ok and the price of the rooms were reasonable. My dog was very comfortable. Pet fee charges were consistent with those of the other hotels in the area. Would stay again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the employee working the breakfast bar kept everything well stocked and clean. We would recommend this motel to our friends and relatives. It was a wonderful stay.

Although the rooms were old and could be updated, housekeeping made sure that our room was very clean and well stocked with supplies. The beds were very comfortable.(the comforters looked new as did the duvet cover). (The beach was a bummer) We had to walk quite a ways to the beach which was shared with the hotel next door and the pool was over a couple buildings but it was nice as was the hot tub. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice, it was in the old restuarant that used to be there so there was plenty of room. There was scrambled eggs, sausage , bisquits with gravy, waffles, fruit, taost,pastries, rolls, cereal, juice, milk and coffee. We went site seeing alot so we weren't in our rooms a whole lot but we would come back because the rooms were very affordable and the pros outweighed the cons.

Saw it was pet friendly and since we were traveling with our dog, made reservations. Got a fantastic lake view (really lake front) and a jacuzzi for no extra charge. The place is extremely conveniently located right next to the Arnold Line and it has a great hot breakfast. Depending on if you like to walk, you can walk the half mile or so to restaurants, and even the downtown area. There is great scenery and you can see the bridge at night from the shoreline in front of the hotel. It is showing a bit of age and needs some updating but hey, for the price, it was great and we highly recommend it. Can't say enough about the whole trip. Wish it was closer so we could visit more.

I booked rooms without a lake view, but when I got there, I realized the lake view as spectacular; the Days Inn personnel were flexible and helpful and gladly accommodated my request to upgrade my room. My room was great, the breakfast was good (and staff kept everything stocked and well provisioned while I was enjoying the breakfast time). The hotel was a short walk away from one of the boat rides to Mackinac Island--very convenient. I'd go back in a heartbeat, and I would recommend it to anyone.

This rating is actually for the Hamilton Inn. We were supposed to stay at Days Inn Lakeview, but they were still under contruction so our reservation was moved over to Hamilton Inn. We got in late and the front desk crew was very helpful letting us know where everything was within the hotel and gave us brochures for the activities going on in Mackinaw. We received a great room with a view of the lake that also had a nice little balcony. They had a small breakfast buffet, but it was sufficient for the price we paid compared to other hotels we have stayed at. We would definitely stay at the Hamilton Inn again!

Our room was nice and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The shower was nice and we had plenty of towels. All the employees that we came into contact with were very nice. The breakfast was good but it was a little bit inconvenient that we had to go to the hotel next door on our second day to have breakfast. Over all, I would say it was a good hotel and we had a nice stay in Mackinaw City. We would stay there again.

It was clean and had a nice view of the Lake but the parking lot for Arnold Lines was in the way of the beach. Close to Arnold Lines so we didn't have far to go to ride to the Island. I would stay their again. Everyone was nice.

Very happy with the room and all the amenities! Had two hard to please teenagers that were delighted with the pool and access to the water slides. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The housekeeping staff was excellent and very hardworking, making sure we had what we needed! Enjoyed our stay very much and will be back again.

The Good: Breakfast was great Pool area was very good Room was good The Bad: The beds were supposedly queen beds but in all the years I've been traveling I've never seen such small queen beds. The truth is they were double beds. Everything else was fine
