-very large room with very beautiful decors. -great price -very good breakfast -next to Star Line Ferry, can just walk to take the ferry and save time -hotel staff are very friendly. We had problems for the room key, but it was taken care of very quickly.

Good value, decent breakfast, clean room, helpful staff, comfortable bed ... my only complaint is that my room did not have any of the usual info telling me how to sign on to WiFi, where the ice machines were located, etc.

Starting with the desk staff.. Awesome!! Our Room was first rate. Clean, beautiful, beds are very comfortable. The view is fantastic! Close to everything. We had the 2 room suite ( one king bed in one room and a queen in the other). Very spacious. We will return!!

Everyone was very friendly and responsive. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The room was very comfortable overall. The room, though, seemed to be in need of some minor repairs: The sliding screen door to the balcony was not operating correctly (came off track easily and would 'stick') and the hair dryer was missing a button (though it operated just fine). Otherwise, I would definitely stay at the hotel again! It is very nicely situated in town and overall the room was very comfortable to stay in and the staff were great.

Very nice room for the price. Breakfast bar was average. Personally do not like eating with plastic forks on paper plates and especially dislike coffee in anything but ceramic cup. Next time will go out for breakfast.

We stayed Tuesday 4-23 and Sunday 4-28 to break up a trip to family downstate. Rooms were clean, and nicely decorated. Traveling with 90 yr old so room request close to entrance doors, etc was honored. Due to our short stay each night we didn't experience breakfast, pool, or have much staff interaction so my rating is GOOD. I would definitely book rooms there again.

Room was clean; breakfast buffet was good. We make a trip to Mackinaw City every year at this time. There's not a lot of hotels to choose from since the majority are still closed but would stay here even if there were more options. It would be nice, and appreciated, if the rates for courtside rooms applied to the lakeview rooms at this time of the year.

We had the best treatment we could expect. We left stuff behind they saved it for us. we lost an ear ring they put out an APB on it. sausage biscuts and gravy for breakfast. Very clean room. Very Friendly Staff. Very nice pool and hottub. We were very happy campers.

We stayed at The Hamilton in late March of 2013, and it was fantastic. The hotel was nice, clean, the breakfast was great and so was the price. We loved the fact that we got free wrist bands for the water park too. Most hotels make you pay extra for those, and beings though its winter here in Michigan it was great winter break and warm :)

We love that the pool is open so late and that you havethe large 2 room suite that has 4 beds. The only issue we noticed is staff at breakfast immediately started taking food away at 10am, even though there were people still waiting in line. We have staayed there multiple times and the breakfast staff usually seem to be crabby, otherwise we've had good experiences there

This was our second time staying at this hotel. Both times we stayed we had comfortable rooms, clean, and a great view. We go to the UP every year and stay here on the Friday before. After a long drive the hotel is very nice. employees are very friendly and helpful. The only thing was the price for off season. it was a bit higher this year than last. Well almost double. Other than that we will definitely come back next year.
