Jodie who checked us in really knows her job. She was very personable and pleasant to talk to. The breakfast buffet was great!! The room was nice. You needed a small table and citronella candle if you wanted to sit on the balcony. The mosquitoes were bad!! There is only 2 chairs on the balcony. Nothing to put your drinks on.

This is a great place to stay as it is close to everything in Mackinaw City. Though our group didn't get a whole lot of time at the hotel itself I would recommend it and stay at it again. During our stay we also didn't have the best weather to enjoy the beach but that was part of the reason we choose the hotel. It was a great stay!

We normally stay here in the Fall of the year, for the past 15 + years, but last year our daughter graduated from law school and we went to N.C. so, we decided to make the trip in the spring and we just needed to rest and we truly did. The rooms were full due to the holiday and we were able to get a lakeside room and just enjoy seeing the water and hearing the waves and seeing the boats leave for the island and return to the city. We hope to be able to come back this Fall. We just enjoy our room and the breakfast room. We were able to take advantage of the exercise room this time.

We had a room with a balcony overlooking Lake Huron. The view was amazing. The close proximity of the ferry made everything so accessible and the discounts provided by the hotel for dining, ferry, and carriage rides were a definite plus. We would love to come back and stay a little longer next time.

Beautiful hotel, very nice rooms, friendly and helpful front desk staff, excellent morning breakfast, and the balcony view of the lake was gorgeous. Very centrally located to the ferrys, shops and restaurants. Overall a wonderful stay. Definitely recommend it and stay here again on our next visit.

Initially, the room they assigned to us had a mix up. That was straightened out, and we did get the kind of room we had booked. The hot tub was being fixed, so we had to go to one of the other hotels. Otherwise, everything else was great!

This is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in at Mackinaw City. We would highly recommend the Hamilton Inn Select. The room was outstanding and very clean. We arrived on a Sunday and were so happy to be on the waterfront side and the hotel was very quiet and we enjoyed ourselves so much - wish we could have stayed longer........ But we will be back.

Fantastic room. Was upgraded as part of Winsome women. We were in awe of the accommodations. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend the first floor beach side rooms!!! Breakfast could have been better, but the accommodations made up for it !!

We visited early in the season, so hotel isn't crowded and not costing an arm and a leg. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful in answering questions. Included full breakfast is important before heading out for a long day. Room is decent. It was a good experience.
