For the crowd of people on labor day weekend and the size of the breakfast area the lady working it h ad a hard time keeping food refilled and cleaning tables . She did an excellent job & was constantly on the run but a little help during this busy time might've been nice. Also, housekeeping did a good job but never left enough washclothes & hand towels - we had to ask e ery evening.

Convenient, right by the ferry dock. Fun to use the pool, wade in the lake, sit on the lounge chairs on the sand & people watch on our deck. The inn is a brief walk to restaurants & shopping downtown. I left my charging cord for my cell phone there when I went to the island. I called the inn & they returnef my call saying that housekeeping found it & I could retrieve it when I returned which I did. I made a reservation for 3 days thinking this inn was on the island. I stayed one night & cancelled the other two nights with no problem. The front desk staff were very helpful & understanding. They followed their cancellation policy. They also give a discount on the ferry tickets. I would stay there again.

First time staying at Hamilton and was very impressed. The room was beautiful and well kept. Did not utilize maid services but they were friendly in the halls. Breakfast was great way to start day off and had large variety for all tastes. Only problem was with the wi-fi service which was bad. Rarely able to get connected. Pool was nice and clean. Definitely will be back at the Hamilton in future.

The younger girl at the front desk was beyond helpful with things to do and places to eat. She spent a long time answering our questions and helping us to find the most economical way to do everything we wanted. She may have been the managers daughter. The beach was beautiful and peaceful, the breakfast was nice and everyone was so helpful and polite. I would highly recommend.

My only suggestion is to check the screen doors that open onto the beach. We stayed on room 107 and it had many spots that needed to be fixed. We love to open the door and hear the waves hit the shoreline from the ferry

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous views from balcony, wonderful beachfront area, great swimming pool! Breakfast offerings could be improved some, but otherwise we loved staying here and we loved how close, walking distance, shops and restaurants were to the hotel! This would be the place we'd choose to stay when we come up there again!

My husband and I were celebrating our 52nd wedding anniversary. The staff were friendly and very helpful and even took our picture for us. We were so happy to learn that our ferry was in walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good, especially the waffles! We would gladly stay at the Hamilton again.
