Mackinaw City is a great town..... We went on the trolley tour, ice breaker, and the fort. We spent all the rest of our time on the beach. The one think that I thought would increase tourist is free or cheap shuttle service running up & down the main strips. Golf carts or something of the like. $1.00 per ride? $10.00 per day arm band? Just thinking out loud here. I think my family would have ventured out more if we didn't have to walk everywhere. We had such a nice view and quiet room. However, your free breakfast was absolutely terrible. With that large of a group you definitely need more than 1 person preparing it and serving it. The tables weren't usually available and if they were they need to be wiped off before you would eat off of them. The hot food needed some help too! We did eat some cold cereal and bagle one morning but the rest of the time we walked down to "Toast Restaurant" for breakfast. Please don't blame the lady serving us.
