Very large, spacious two bedroom suite. Biggest room they have. That was very much appreciated! Front desk staff were very polite and gracious. Free breakfast buffet was nice too. Very close to downtown Mackinac City and right next to Star Line Ferry dock.We'll definitely return to this hotel our next trip to Mackinac City! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 start is due to our room door being right next to a stairway door, so we heard that door slam many times during the night. We were also there a night when the parking lots were very full so it was hard to find a parking spot. The view was amazing we stayed on the first floor lake view room. The only complaint was that the tub faucet was stripped and wouldn't shut off completely but it wasn't a big deal. We were able to open the sliding door and step onto the beach. It was beautiful. The bathroom was large and we loved the privacy of a 'water closet'. The extra discounts provided were a nice bonus, as was the included breakfast. The only downside was people smoking on the beach and/or balconies, which was disappointing, as the facility is supposed to be smoke-free. I realize there's only so much a hotel can do to enforce the policy, especially given the size, but it did detract from the stay nonetheless.
